| Pineland High School Holds Commencement Ceremony VINELAND, NJ (May 29, 2009) –Pineland Learning Center (PLC), a private day-school providing individualized education programs, held a ceremony for the school’s 15 graduating seniors on May 28. During the ceremony, student council representatives addressed attendees and staff members spoke about the graduates’ many accomplishments. The seniors each received a certificate of completion from PLC and will receive diplomas from their sending school districts in June. Mariluz Gonzalez, Director of Community Development for Sun National Bank, was the keynote speaker. “These students have committed themselves to personal and academic growth while at Pineland,” said Fred Eccleston, Executive Director of PLC. “We are proud to celebrate all of our graduates and their achievements. They have had a positive influence on everyone around them and we wish the Class of 2009 continued success in the future.” The 2009 Pineland High School graduates are:
Principal Sam Curio introduced the Class of 2009 and the Katherine Clark scholarship for $1,500 was awarded to Marily Reyes for excellent academic achievement, attendance, leadership, volunteer hours and community service. Following the ceremony, the graduates and guests were treated to an elegant luncheon prepared by PLC’s chef. <<back |
