PINELAND HIGH SCHOOL HOLDS COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY
NJ Assemblywoman Celeste Riley Keynotes


VINELAND, NJ (June 5, 2010) – Pineland Learning Center (PLC), a private day-school providing individualized education programs, held a ceremony for the school’s 15 graduating seniors on June 4. Celeste Riley, NJ State Assembly Member from the 3rd District, was the keynote speaker. During the ceremony, student council representatives addressed attendees and staff members spoke about the graduates’ many accomplishments. The seniors each received a certificate of completion from PLC and will receive diplomas from their sending school districts.

 “We are proud to celebrate all of our graduates and their accomplishments. These students have committed themselves to academic and personal growth while at Pineland,” said Fred Eccleston, Director of Pineland Learning Center.  “They have had a positive influence on our school and we wish the Class of 2010 continued success in the future.”

Each PLC graduate received special recognition on behalf of Senator Stephen M. Sweeney, Assemblyman John J. Burzichelli, and Assemblywoman Riley, all from NJ’s 3rd District.  Other speakers included Annie Wright, longtime foster parent, Pearl Giordano, President of Limpert Bros., Inc, and Glenn Davila, President of Performance Marketing. 

School Director Kay Delp presented the graduates and the 2010 Katherine Clark scholarship of $1,500 was awarded to Donovan Johnson and LaMark Thomas for excellence in academic achievement, attendance, leadership, volunteering and community service.
