PINELAND HIGH SCHOOL HOLDS COMMENCEMENT

VINELAND, NJ (June 9, 2008) –Fourteen students from throughout South Jersey graduated from Pineland Learning Center (PLC), a private day-school providing individualized education programs, on May 29. The 2008 commencement represents the largest graduating class since PLC's inception in 1980. Dr. Daniel Mastrobuono, Cumberland County Superintendent of Schools, was the keynote speaker. Principal Sam Curio introduced the Class of 2008 and presented the Katherine Clark scholarship to Victoria Garcia, a $1500 award for excellent academic achievement, attendance, leadership, volunteer hours and community service. The 2008 Pineland High School graduates are:

Following the ceremony, the graduates and guests were treated to an elegant luncheon prepared by PLC's Chef.

"These students have committed themselves to personal and academic growth while at Pineland," said Fred Eccleston, Executive Director of PLC. "We are proud to celebrate all of our graduates and their achievements. They have had a positive influence on everyone around them and we wish the Class of 2008 continued success in the future."
